Should any repairs be found necessary, this will be reported to you & charged accordingly

Trailer Servicing
From as little as £50.00 + VAT
We would like to point out that the trailer comes standard with lights and where fitted a full braking system,
all of which are subjected to the rigours of the British weather!
Ifor Williams build quality is renowned in protecting these systems,
but through the course of time items such as these, will require servicing.
We would like to offer you this opportunity to take advantage of our trailer service scheme,
which offers additional peace of mind, when taking to the road.
Simply we will check over your trailer in our workshops and advise you of any work
that may be required before proceeding. The costs will be from as little as £50.00 +VAT.
Basic Service Check list includes –
All lights, wiring, braking system, jockey wheel, hitch,
inspection of chassis, wheels / tyres and the floor.
In our experience regular maintenance of the braking and lighting system,
keeps the trailer within the confines of the law.
Rules on trailer use are expected to tighten in 2006
and there is a distinct possibility that in the future an MOT may be required for your trailer.
Furthermore, transport police are already cracking down on poorly maintained trailers.
Broken lights, poor tyre conditions, and faulty brakes all attract fixed penalty points.
A well-maintained trailer also enhances your future trade in value.

Keeping Your Cool! - Summer is here!
Air Con System check over costs including labour from as little as £130.00
Wintertime can prove to be just as strenuous on your air con system in summer time.
Infact, at least in summer time, the system is switched on & running.
When the system is out of use in Winter, it can become clogged with condensation,
due to the receiver/drier requiring a change of filter.
Rutherfords can service your system ready for the coming harvest with our new
purpose built trailer, which accommodates all our equipment.
The existing refrigerant is vacuumed & the filter is changed,
new refrigerant is then added, cab filters are checked & cleaned
and the system is then tested for cool air out of the vents.
All your old refrigerant is then taken away & disposed off by us.
We can also check your Air Con for leaks with our dye.
This can pinpoint any leak, which is invisible to the naked eye.
If your system requires any more in-depth repairs then this will be
reported to you and charged extra.
